Kacey Musgraves surprises fans with Megan Moroney duet in Los Angeles

Kacey Musgraves brought Megan Moroney on stage as a surprise guest during the second night of Musgraves' 'Middle of Nowhere Tour' stop at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, according to reports from wmzq.iheart.com and other iHeart outlets.

The two country artists performed the song 'Bells & Whistles' live for the first time. This duet is featured on Moroney's third studio album, Cloud 9, which was released earlier this year. Moroney co-wrote the song with Mackenzie Carpenter, Micah Carpenter, and Ben Williams.

Moroney has previously shared that Musgraves inspired her own songwriting. The two were also featured together in the American Currents: State of the Music exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in 2024, which highlights connections between artists and their influences.

Musgraves released her fifth studio album, Middle of Nowhere, earlier this year. The album includes collaborations with artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Billy Strings, Miranda Lambert, and Willie Nelson. It also features a Spanish rendition of 'Uncertain, TX' with Intocable.

Musgraves' Middle of Nowhere follows her previous albums, including Deeper Well (2024), star-crossed (2021), Golden Hour (2018), Pageant Material (2015), and Same Trailer Different Park (2013).
