Lucy Guo sues ex-girlfriend over Instagram posts in San Francisco court

Lucy Guo, billionaire cofounder of Scale AI, has filed a defamation lawsuit against her ex-girlfriend, British actress Wallis Day, in San Francisco Superior Court, the San Francisco Standard reported.

The lawsuit follows a series of Instagram posts by Day that Guo claims are defamatory. Guo is seeking the court's assistance to determine how many people viewed the Instagram Story posts made by Day.

Guo and Day had a six-month relationship that ended in a contentious breakup in February. After the breakup, Guo released a breakup anthem titled "Done With Your Ex."

According to court filings cited by the Standard, Day posted allegations on Instagram accusing Guo of inappropriate behavior and theft, which Guo disputes and is challenging legally.

This case highlights the intersection of personal disputes and social media in San Francisco's legal landscape as the court addresses the defamation claims and the scope of social media impact.
