A Miami couple is transforming cotton candy, also known as fairy floss, into custom edible art, according to WSVN 7News. They create characters and animals from the sugary treat, which requires skill and speed due to Miami’s humid climate.

The couple starts their creations with a cotton candy sphere and adds small cotton candy accessories, cutting and shaping them by hand. The unicorn is noted as their most popular character among customers.

Humidity in South Florida presents a challenge, as cotton candy quickly becomes sticky. Outdoors, the art lasts about three minutes before melting, while indoors it can last from 30 minutes to an hour, WSVN reported.

They also offer custom designs for parties and corporate events, able to create anything from logos to imaginative figures. The couple enjoys seeing the delighted reactions of customers when they see their cotton candy art.
