NC State Fair ends 11-day run with strong attendance in Raleigh
Thousands enjoyed rides and food on the final day of the North Carolina State Fair in Raleigh.
The North Carolina State Fair concluded its 11-day event in Raleigh on Sunday, drawing thousands of visitors who enjoyed midway rides and popular food stands, WRAL reported.
For many families, attending the fair is a yearly tradition, while vendors see it as a chance to connect with customers from across the state, according to WRAL.
Bobby and Dawn Sharpe, vendors from Broadway, North Carolina, said the fair provided a rewarding experience and valuable business insights.
Fair director Kent Yelverton highlighted that vendors benefit from the exposure to nearly a million visitors passing through the fairgrounds.
The event's successful turnout reflects its continued importance as a major annual gathering in Raleigh, with plans announced earlier to charge food and beverage vendors in future fairs.
