Starting next semester, New York University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) will guarantee transfer admission to students who have earned associate degrees from Campus, a two-year online community college, nyunews.com reported.

Graduates with an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Campus will gain access to bachelor’s degree programs at SPS’s Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies, according to nyunews.com.

Campus aims to offer an affordable college experience with access to top university professors, on-demand tutoring, and career counseling services, the report said.

SPS faculty worked with Campus representatives to create transfer pathways that maximize students’ prior academic credits, nyunews.com noted. Campus joins SPS’s network of about two dozen community colleges including Borough of Manhattan Community College and LaGuardia Community College.

Currently, 1,265 students are enrolled in SPS’s Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies. A senior who transferred from Guttman Community College praised the transfer process and affordability as key reasons for her choice, nyunews.com added.
