Orange County waste and public works employees have returned to strike action, CBS News Los Angeles reported. The workers, represented by Teamsters Local 952, overwhelmingly rejected the county’s offer of a one-time raise from 3% to 4% without retroactive pay.

The union spokesperson, Christian Castro, explained that the proposal did not include retroactive pay, which was a key factor in the rejection. This has led to the resumption of the strike by the county employees.
