Pistons beat 76ers 106-93 after Jalen Duren injury in Miami game
Detroit Pistons remain unbeaten despite losing Jalen Duren to hamstring injury in Miami game last Friday.
The Detroit Pistons secured a 106-93 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, maintaining their unbeaten record, according to The Morning Sun. Cade Cunningham led the Pistons with 26 points, while John Collins contributed a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
This win came in the Pistons' first game without All-Star center Jalen Duren, who sustained a strained right hamstring during the first half of Detroit's game against Miami on Friday. Duren is expected to miss at least two weeks due to the injury.
The Pistons dominated the game from start to finish, opening with a 15-1 run and leading 56-35 by the second quarter. The 76ers, missing starters Joel Embiid and VJ Edgecombe, attempted a comeback but never took the lead. LeBron James scored 18 points, and Tyrese Maxey led the Sixers with 29 points.
Detroit's Duncan Robinson made five three-pointers, helping to halt Philadelphia's attempts to close the gap.
