WTVR CBS 6 reported that Richmond and surrounding areas will have mostly sunny skies through midweek, with only a few clouds south of the city on the morning of the report day. Temperatures are expected to gradually warm from the low to mid 60s to the upper 60s and near 70°F by Tuesday and Wednesday.

The forecast calls for clear skies overnight with lows ranging from the upper 30s to mid 40s. Highs on Monday will be in the mid to upper 60s, continuing the warming trend through midweek.

By Thursday, temperatures will drop to the mid 60s, and a cold front is expected to bring a chance of showers late Thursday into early Friday. The weekend will be dry but cooler, with highs in the low to mid 50s.

Sunday morning lows may approach or fall below freezing in areas away from the coast, signaling a significant temperature drop after the mild midweek period, according to WTVR CBS 6.

Residents are encouraged to prepare for the cooler weather and potential showers later in the week, while enjoying the sunny and warmer conditions expected through midweek.
