Henrico Police responded to a crash on Skipwith Road near Anoka Road around 7:05 p.m. Friday, where they found a single vehicle overturned and a utility pole snapped, according to WTVR CBS 6.

The downed pole caused power lines to fall across the road, leading to the closure of all lanes on Skipwith Road between Anoka Road and Broadmoor Drive, NBC12 reported.

Utility crews are on site assessing the damage and are expected to work overnight and into Saturday to make repairs, WTVR said.

No injuries were reported in the crash, and police are advising drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to cross Interstate 64, according to both local outlets.

This remains a developing situation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available, WTVR noted.
