WTVR CBS 6 reported that Richmond and surrounding areas will have mostly sunny skies this weekend with highs in the low to mid 60s. Overnight lows will be chilly, ranging from the mid 30s to lower 40s, with some colder spots possibly dipping into the lower 30s by Tuesday morning.

Temperatures are expected to rise slightly early next week, reaching around 70 degrees by Tuesday and Wednesday. However, a cold front is forecast to bring showers Thursday into early Friday, followed by cooler temperatures in the 50s by Friday and the following weekend.

CBS 6 also noted that some areas could experience lows near or below freezing Saturday night, so residents should prepare for colder conditions during the overnight hours.

The Weather Authority encourages Richmond area residents to stay updated on weather changes through the CBS 6 Weather App for iPhone and Android devices.
