San Marcos Mayor Rebecca Jones is running for the San Diego County Supervisor seat in District 5, FOX 5 San Diego reported.

Jones is competing against Kyle Krahel for the position following the June primary election.

The race will determine who will represent District 5 on the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.
