Suspect arrested after woman’s body found in Riverside County
Authorities arrested a man in connection with a woman's death in a rural area of Riverside County.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office arrested a suspect following the discovery of a woman’s body in a rural part of Riverside County, KTLA 5 reported.
Deputies responded to reports of human remains near Bautista Canyon and Willis roads in an unincorporated area of Riverside County on October 23, according to KTLA 5.
The suspect, identified as a 40-year-old man from Hemet, was taken into custody on charges related to the murder, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather more information about the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
