Thousands of fans gathered at Tropicana Field in Tampa Bay on Saturday night to watch Game 2 of the World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Milwaukee Brewers, WFLA reported.
The Rays’ home stadium, Tropicana Field, has seen a remarkable turnaround since October 2024 when its future seemed uncertain, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Now, the dome has become a key feature of the Fall Classic, highlighted by its light show during player introductions earlier in the postseason.
The strong local support at Tropicana Field reflects the community’s enthusiasm for the Rays as they compete in the World Series.
