San José Spotlight reported that Mark Turner has been reelected as mayor of Morgan Hill for another four-year term.
In the same election cycle, incumbents Yvonne Martinez Beltran and Marilyn Librers, representing City Council Districts B and D respectively, are currently behind in votes and may not retain their seats.
Seven candidates competed in the election, including three for the mayoral position, indicating a competitive local political environment.
An update on the election results is expected by Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 5 p.m., which will provide more clarity on the council races.
