Richmond and surrounding areas will experience warm and dry weather on Wednesday, with highs reaching the upper 70s, according to NBC12. Morning fog is expected to clear, followed by mostly sunny skies and increasing clouds in the afternoon.

A cold front will approach Thursday, bringing scattered, mostly light showers with a 30% chance of rain, though most areas are expected to remain dry, WTVR reported. Overnight lows will stay mild near 60 degrees.

Friday is forecast to bring the most significant weather of the week, with a line of rain moving through the Richmond area. Moderate to heavy rainfall is possible, especially in the southeastern parts of the region, with some areas potentially receiving up to 2 inches of rain, NBC12 noted. Thunderstorms may also occur.

The rain is expected to clear by the weekend, leading to dry and cooler conditions. Saturday will see highs in the lower 70s, with temperatures dropping to the low to mid 60s early next week, according to WTVR.

Residents are advised to stay updated through local weather apps such as CBS 6 Weather App and NBC12’s First Alert Weather app for the latest forecasts and alerts.
