The White House's online page listing financial disclosure forms for President Trump and top officials briefly went offline on Friday afternoon without any explanation, CBS News reported.

The page, which includes disclosures required by law such as the president's annual financial disclosure and stock transaction reports, serves as a central hub for more than 100 White House staffers' financial records.

CBS News uses an automated system to monitor ethics disclosures and noticed the page returned a 404 error at 3:31 p.m., indicating it had been taken down. The White House did not respond to inquiries about the removal or restoration of the page.

The disclosure page was restored between 4:31 and 5:01 p.m., with a new file added: a report on the president's stock trades signed on September 17, which had been publicly available on the Office of Government Ethics website since October 8.

The financial disclosures are required under the Ethics in Government Act of 1978, and the White House has previously posted stock reports within days of their availability on the OGE site.
