Residents of Ashland, Virginia, participated in a distinctive election last year called the Paswitive Politics campaign, according to WRIC 8News.
In this election, an orange cat named The Trouble Man was elected as police chief, while a golden retriever named Wilbur was named dog mayor of Ashland.
The hosts of the show A New Leash on Life, Jessica Kirk and Jessica Wetzler, interviewed the owners of these animal officials to discuss the campaign and how the pets are engaging with the community.
