Brazil is paying close attention to the US midterm elections, according to France 24 English.

Relations between Brazil and the United States have become increasingly tense since Donald Trump's return to the White House, France 24 reported.

Economic issues have contributed to the strain, with aggressive US trade policies imposing some of the highest tariffs on Brazilian imports globally.

This economic friction has further complicated the relationship between Brasilia and Washington, as noted by France 24's correspondent in Rio de Janeiro, Jan Onoszko.
