WITN reported that Elizabeth City and surrounding areas will experience mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies through the end of the week. Mornings will start cool in the 50s, warming to afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Winds from the northeast will continue, helping keep humidity levels relatively low across the region. This weather pattern is expected to persist through Friday.

Halloween day is forecasted to be dry with highs in the mid 70s, providing favorable conditions for outdoor activities. Evening temperatures on Saturday are expected to be in the upper 60s, suitable for trick-or-treaters.

While the weather is pleasant inland, WITN noted that rip current risks will be high along beaches from Cape Hatteras northward on Tuesday, which may affect coastal areas but not directly Elizabeth City.

Residents can stay updated by downloading the WITN First Alert Weather App available on Google Play and the App Store.
