Fatal crash reported on I-95 near Ormond Beach in Volusia County

A deadly crash on southbound I-95 near mile marker 272 caused a roadblock Tuesday night, Florida Highway Patrol said.

A fatal crash occurred on Interstate 95 in Volusia County Tuesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, WKMG News 6 ClickOrlando reported.

The crash took place on the southbound lanes near mile marker 272, resulting in a roadblock on the highway.

No further details were released about the number of fatalities or the cause of the crash at this time.
