Four men from Central Virginia were arrested in late October in connection with separate prostitution-related incidents in Hanover County's Ashland area, WRIC reported.

The arrests resulted from a joint investigation conducted on October 27 by the Ashland Police Department, Virginia State Police, and the Virginia Capital Area Human Trafficking Task Force, NBC12 reported.

Authorities said the men were not connected to one another, and each case was handled independently. The investigation focused on suspected solicitation activity along the Interstate 95 corridor, according to WRIC.

No human trafficking victims were identified during this operation, as stated by the Ashland Police Department in the WRIC report.

Police periodically conduct such investigations to address prostitution activity in the area, aiming to reduce illegal solicitation and related crimes.
