Federal prosecutors in Washington, D.C., sought to indict Cassidy Hutchinson over her testimony about the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, CBS News reported.
According to four sources familiar with the grand jury proceedings, the grand jury declined to indict Hutchinson, a former White House aide, for her testimony related to the assault on the U.S. Capitol.
The Justice Department has not yet issued a comment on the grand jury's decision, CBS News noted.
The Washington Post was the first outlet to report that the grand jury did not indict Hutchinson.
