Jackery has introduced the Explorer 100D, its smallest portable power station to date, according to The Verge. The device measures 4.6 by 3.4 by 3.4 inches and weighs just 1.87 pounds, making it highly portable.

The Explorer 100D uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, which Jackery first incorporated in 2023. These batteries are safer and have a longer lifespan, engineered for up to 8 years of regular use and capable of 3,000 charge cycles.

With a battery capacity of 96Wh (30,000mAh), the power station can charge multiple devices during extended periods such as long flights. It features two 140W USB-C ports and one 18W USB-A port, with a maximum total output of 158W.

The device includes an integrated handle and an optional shoulder strap for easy carrying. The Explorer 100D will be available starting November 15 at Walmart for $99, while a two-pack is currently sold at Costco for $179.99.

While smaller and cheaper portable chargers exist, Jackery emphasizes the durability and longevity of its LFP battery cells compared to common lithium-ion batteries.
