Paul Wesley Real Estate, a Northern Virginia-based brokerage launched earlier this year by Larry “Boomer” Foster, is opening a new office in Midlothian, Richmond BizSense reported.

The new office will be located at 14401 Sommerville Court in the Sommerville Office Park along Midlothian Turnpike near Route 288 and Westchester Commons. The company has leased a 3,000-square-foot space there, though an official opening date has not been announced.

Joan Dorsey, a longtime Richmond agent who previously led Long & Foster’s Midlothian office for nine years, will serve as the managing broker for the new location. She is joined by about 25 agents, many of whom are former Long & Foster colleagues.

Paul Wesley Real Estate was launched by Boomer Foster, a former president of Long & Foster and nephew of its founder. The brokerage has grown to over 100 agents across Maryland, D.C., and Virginia, expanding to other Virginia cities such as Staunton, Waynesboro, and Charlottesville.

Foster said strong agent interest and connections in Richmond made the expansion a natural step. He highlighted Dorsey’s respected standing in the local real estate community as a key reason for her leadership role at the new office.
