The Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle service is suspended until further notice, the San Francisco Bay Ferry service announced Wednesday, KRON4 reported.
This shuttle runs daily between Alameda Landing and Jack London Square, providing a key transit option for commuters and travelers in the Bay Area.
The suspension follows damage to the vessel known as "Woodstock," a former Niagara Falls tour boat used for the shuttle service. The service suspension was announced amid reports of high tides in the area.
Officials have not yet provided a timeline for when service will resume, and passengers are advised to seek alternative transportation in the meantime.
