Richmond sees cooler Wednesday with morning fog, dry Halloween forecast
Richmond will have slightly cooler weather with morning fog Wednesday; Halloween remains dry and mild with temperatures near 60°F.
Richmond area residents can expect a slightly cooler Wednesday with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s, according to WTVR CBS 6. Morning fog is possible, especially near and west of I-95, with lows in the 40s to lower 50s. NBC12 also reported early morning low clouds and fog, followed by mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon with highs around 70°F.
The weather will warm up by Friday with highs reaching the upper 70s, as southwest winds increase ahead of the weekend, WTVR CBS 6 noted. Halloween is forecasted to be dry, mild, and mostly pleasant, making it a good night for outdoor activities. Temperatures on Saturday evening for trick-or-treating should be near 60°F, dipping into the 50s later, NBC12 reported.
Both outlets agree that while some clouds may increase on Halloween afternoon, no rain is expected. However, early next week will bring a more unsettled weather pattern with a chance of light rain on Monday and Tuesday, though any rainfall is expected to be limited and not provide significant drought relief, according to WTVR CBS 6 and NBC12.
Residents should also note that daylight saving time ends early Sunday morning, with clocks falling back one hour at 2 a.m., NBC12 reminded.
