Royal Mail unveils 2026 Christmas stamps featuring Nativity scenes
The 2026 Christmas stamp collection by Royal Mail showcases Nativity scenes, marking 60 years since the first Christmas stamp.
Royal Mail has revealed its Christmas stamp collection for 2026, which includes five stamps depicting scenes from the Nativity, BBC Business reported.
The stamps were created by graphic designer Gareth Howat and illustrator Rebecca Sutherland, who expressed honor at illustrating the collection and noted her lifelong love of stamps.
The series features familiar Nativity images such as Mary and Joseph traveling, baby Jesus, an angel, shepherds, and the Three Wise Men.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of Royal Mail's first Christmas special stamp, which was introduced in December 1966 following a children's art competition.
Recent Christmas stamps have shown snowy UK cathedral scenes or carol lyrics, with the 2025 collection also featuring Nativity scenes, according to BBC Business.
Royal Mail hopes the new stamps will add festive spirit to greetings sent domestically and internationally during the holiday season.
