Sacramento Midtown Farmers Market named best in California for third year

The Midtown Farmers Market in Sacramento has been ranked the best farmers market in California for the third year in a row, FOX40 reported. This ranking comes from the annual America’s Farmland Celebration organized by the American Farmland Trust, which bases its list on nationwide votes.

Following Sacramento’s Midtown Farmers Market, the Historic Folsom Farmers Market also earned recognition as one of the top markets in the state, according to FOX40.

On a national level, the Sarasota Downtown Farmers’ Market in Florida took the top spot, with the Lakewood Ranch Farmers’ Market in the same city coming in second, FOX40 noted.

The Midtown Farmers Market operates every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Market Square, located at 20th and K streets in Sacramento, providing local residents with access to fresh produce and goods.
