Former President Trump urged Congress to pass the Sunshine Protection Act, which would make daylight saving time permanent, according to The Hill.

He described the early sunset as "ridiculous" and expressed disappointment that the Senate has not yet approved the bill.

Trump referred to the legislation as the "I Don’t Want to Change My Clocks Anymore Act" in a post on Truth Social.
