The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a burglary and identity theft case that started this summer at The Ridge Senior Living in Westlake Village, KTLA 5 reported.

On June 3, suspects broke into a locked room at the senior center and stole credit cards belonging to a resident, according to the sheriff’s department.

The stolen credit cards were then used to make unauthorized purchases at various stores, prompting the ongoing search for the suspects.

Authorities have not yet identified or apprehended the individuals involved and continue to seek information from the public to aid the investigation.
