Community Guidelines (profiles, writing circles and chat)

Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, sexual content, or content that promotes self-harm, violence or illegal activity.

Keep it about the writing. Feedback should be specific and kind. No pressure, spam or self-promotion.

Protect privacy. Do not share your or anyone else's phone number, address, school schedule, social media handles or other contact details. Links are not allowed in teen rooms.

Age-based spaces. Under 13: no chat or comments; preset positive reactions only. 13–17: teen-only topic rooms and writing circles, moderated, with no private messages. Adults cannot enter teen spaces. 18+: adult rooms, writing circles and private messages between adults.

Moderation. Messages in teen spaces are screened before they post. Staff review reports. We may remove content, restrict features or close accounts that break these Guidelines, and we report suspected child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children as required by law.

Report and block buttons are on every message and profile.
