Atlanta police are asking the public for help identifying multiple suspects linked to a shooting and a series of car break-ins in northwest Atlanta. Investigators reported that on October 27, 2024, around 3:30 a.m., a group of thieves were breaking into cars along New Jersey Avenue NW when they shot a vehicle owner twice after being spotted, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.

The suspects fled the scene in a silver Hyundai Elantra, firing additional shots as they left. Police later found nine vehicles had been broken into in the area. Surveillance images of two suspects have been released to the public to aid in their identification.

Authorities have not disclosed the victim's name or condition, nor have they confirmed the exact number of suspects involved. The Atlanta Police Department encourages anyone with information about the suspects or the getaway vehicle to submit anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta.
