More than 1,500 supporters gathered at the Cobb Galleria Centre on Saturday where Democratic candidates Keisha Lance Bottoms and Jon Ossoff addressed voters, Atlanta News First reported. The event followed President Donald Trump's campaign stop in Dalton the previous day for Republican candidates Rick Jackson and Mike Collins.

Bottoms, the Democratic nominee for governor, criticized Trump and Jackson, emphasizing the election as a fight over voters' voices. She stated, "With every vote cast we are sending a message loud and clear for Donald Trump and Slick Rick Jackson to hear. Our votes are ours, and our voices will never be silenced," according to reports from both Atlanta News First and wctv.tv.

Ossoff, seeking reelection to the U.S. Senate, questioned the background and associations of his Republican challenger Mike Collins. He said, "So many Republicans are backing our campaign and it’s because of the bigot congressman Mike Collins, who is only a congressman because his daddy was a congressman surrounded at work at home and on his campaign by Neo Nazis and white nationalist," as reported by Atlanta News First and wctv.tv.

At Trump's rally in Dalton, he criticized both Ossoff and Bottoms while supporting Jackson and Collins. Trump said of Ossoff, "In 18 days from now, the people of Georgia are going to defeat your weak arrogant radical left Senator," and of Bottoms, "If she becomes governor, she will ruin your state, she will ruin this great state that I love so much," according to the sources.

Early voting is underway in Georgia. Voter Denise Raynar emphasized the importance of participating in elections, stating that voting is a joint responsibility and the only way to influence government, as reported by both Atlanta News First and wctv.tv.
