The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is continuing its investigation into a homicide that occurred 16 years ago, involving the death of 18-year-old Chad Montez Brown. The shooting happened on October 23, 2010, during a private party at Pythian Castle Hall in Charleston, according to WCIV.

Deputies responded around 1 a.m. to reports of a shooting at the event, where they found two individuals with gunshot wounds. One victim survived, but Brown was transported to a hospital where he later died, the Charleston County Sheriff's Office said.
