Elizabeth City and the surrounding area will experience continued warm and mostly dry weather through the Halloween weekend, WITN reported.

High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees, with lows in the mid-50s. Cloud cover will increase but rain chances remain slim, especially along the coast.

Winds are forecast to relax as the King Tide ends Saturday, contributing to calm conditions for Halloween. Temperatures will hold steady in the upper 70s for the holiday.

As November begins, unseasonably warm weather will continue with highs in the mid-70s and lows in the 50s to near 60 degrees. Rain is expected to return during the weekdays, though amounts will be limited.
