Democrat Jared Moskowitz won reelection to Florida's newly drawn 25th Congressional District, defeating Republican Scott Singer, NBC News and CBS News reported. The district includes parts of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties along Florida's southeast coast. Moskowitz's victory maintains his seat in the U.S. House after moving from the 23rd District to run in the newly created 25th District following redistricting efforts led by Republicans.

Moskowitz campaigned on restoring Affordable Care Act tax credits, lowering homeowners insurance costs, addressing the cost of living, and combating antisemitism, CBS News noted. The race was closely watched as Republicans sought to flip the seat, but Moskowitz prevailed despite the more politically competitive constituency created by the new boundaries.

In Florida's 28th Congressional District, Republican incumbent Carlos Gimenez won his fourth term, defeating Democrat Phil Ehr and Independent Eddy Rojas, WSVN reported. The district covers parts of Miami-Dade and the Florida Keys. Gimenez, who chairs the House Homeland Security Subcommittee, focused his campaign on border security, national security, and local community investment.

These election results reflect continued party competition in Florida's congressional districts amid redistricting changes. Both Moskowitz and Gimenez secured their seats for upcoming terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.
