Cobb County police reported that a man died three days after a three-car crash in Acworth on October 26. The accident occurred around 6:25 a.m. at the intersection of Lake Acworth Drive and Kemp Ridge Road, according to Atlanta News First.

Police said a Toyota Camry was traveling north on Kemp Ridge Road and failed to yield to a Ford F-150 traveling east on Lake Acworth Drive. The two vehicles collided and also struck a Hyundai Elantra that was stopped in the left turn lane on Lake Acworth Drive.

The driver of the Ford F-150, 58-year-old Adren Mathna, initially refused medical treatment at the scene but died on October 29 from injuries sustained in the crash, Cobb County police said. The investigation is ongoing, with Cobb County police assisting Acworth police.

Atlanta News First noted this is a developing story and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
