WTVR CBS 6 reported that Richmond and surrounding areas will continue to experience dry weather through Halloween, with only a slight chance of light rain arriving on Monday.

Temperatures are expected to remain above normal, with daytime highs in the 60s and 70s throughout the week. Tuesday will bring a weak, dry front shifting winds to the north and northeast but no rain.

Wednesday and Thursday will stay dry and seasonable as high pressure anchors off the Mid-Atlantic coast, keeping conditions calm and comfortable in the Richmond region.

Friday will see temperatures climb well into the 70s due to southwest winds, which is above normal for late October but still pleasant for outdoor activities.

Halloween night is forecasted to be dry, mild, and mostly pleasant, making it a favorable evening for outdoor events. Some clouds may increase later but no rain is expected.

A more unsettled weather pattern is anticipated early next week, with the best chance for light rain on Monday. However, any rainfall is expected to be light and insufficient to relieve drought conditions through at least early November.
