Bay Area kayaker has close encounter with great white shark near Half Moon Bay

A kayaker fishing off Half Moon Bay had a close call with a great white shark but was unharmed.

A kayaker fishing off the coast of Half Moon Bay had a close encounter with a great white shark, KRON4 reported.

The fisherman, identified as David Slavich, was kayaking and fishing when the shark swam near his kayak without attacking him.

Slavich was unharmed during the incident, and the encounter was captured on video by another fisherman nearby.
