The Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento is waiving adoption fees for dogs through Halloween, according to FOX40.
Officials said the shelter is currently at capacity with kennels full and more stray dogs arriving, making a variety of dogs available for adoption.
In addition to the fee waiver, the shelter is creating a community pet ofrenda and hosting other events through early November to engage the community.
These efforts aim to find homes for dogs of various ages, sizes, and personalities during this busy period at the shelter.
