Several couples in the Raleigh area who hired Holly Christina Photography for their weddings have started receiving unedited photos and video clips months after the company shut down, WRAL reported. The photography company had been under investigation for failing to deliver promised services to hundreds of customers.

One bride with a wedding in September 2025 told WRAL she received a Dropbox link containing about 475 short video clips, mostly of good quality. Another couple received three SD cards with roughly 1,000 pictures and video clips, according to WRAL and ABC11 WTVD.

Despite finally receiving some media, many couples say the photos and videos are unedited, which does not fully meet the terms of their contracts. One couple shared with ABC11 WTVD that although they got about 9,000 unedited photos, they are still missing wedding videos and other promised content.

The issue first came to light in early 2026 when WRAL and ABC11 WTVD reported dozens of customers who paid thousands of dollars but did not get their wedding memories. The number of affected couples grew from 50 to over 220 as the investigation progressed.

North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson filed a civil lawsuit against Holly Christina Photography following these reports. Couples remain hopeful that the remaining promised videos and other media will be delivered.

The deliveries mark a partial step forward for affected couples, but many still face stress and additional expenses due to the delays and incomplete services.
