Trump to campaign in North Carolina this week ahead of midterm elections

WBTV reported that President Donald Trump is scheduled to campaign in North Carolina this week as part of a broader tour across several states leading up to the midterm elections on November 3.

According to WBTV, Trump's tour includes stops in Kansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Iowa, and Florida during the week, with additional rallies planned in Georgia and Michigan the following weekend.

Vice President JD Vance will also campaign in North Carolina, with a stop in Hendersonville on Monday before heading to Nebraska later in the week, according to WBTV.

The campaign efforts by Trump and Vance aim to support Republican candidates and maintain a Republican majority in Congress, as Democrats currently hold a polling advantage ahead of the elections, WBTV reported.

The midterm elections will determine control of Congress and influence the political landscape for the remainder of Trump's term, WBTV noted.
