Baltimore plans road closures and traffic changes for Ravens game Thursday
Baltimore will close roads and test new traffic patterns near M&T Bank Stadium for the Ravens game Thursday night.
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation announced several road closures and temporary traffic patterns near M&T Bank Stadium for the Ravens’ 8:15 p.m. game Thursday, FOX45 Baltimore reported.
After the game, the city will pilot a new traffic pattern on part of Hanover Street aimed at improving traffic flow and reducing delays in nearby neighborhoods. Baltimore Police and city officials will monitor the test to decide if similar changes should be used for future events.
Parking restrictions and residential permit rules near the stadium will be strictly enforced. Fans driving to the game are advised to use commercial parking lots and avoid residential areas, FOX45 Baltimore said.
Those without stadium parking permits are encouraged to use public transportation. Motorists are also urged to use the Waze app for live detour updates and navigation assistance.
