Elizabeth City residents can expect comfortable fall weather on Monday, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s, according to WITN. The day will be mostly dry with a few passing clouds, and overnight lows will drop to the upper 40s and low 50s.

Monday will bring similar conditions, with clouds breaking up in the afternoon and lows again falling to the 40s and 50s. Temperatures will rise on Tuesday and into midweek, reaching the upper 70s to near 80 degrees, WITN reported.

Humidity will increase with southeasterly winds as a low-pressure system approaches from the south. Clouds will thicken Wednesday, leading to showers Thursday and Friday in the Elizabeth City area.

While a few isolated thunderstorms are possible later in the week, severe weather chances remain low. Overnight temperatures will stay in the upper 50s to low 60s during this period.

Residents are encouraged to stay updated through the WITN First Alert Weather App for any changes in the forecast.
