Preston Glasco, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound cornerback from Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, committed to Tennessee football over Alabama and Georgia, according to Yahoo Sports. Glasco is rated a three-star prospect and ranked between No. 69 and No. 88 among cornerbacks in the 2027 class by recruiting services.

Glasco initially committed to UConn in June but decommitted in September. Tennessee offered him a scholarship shortly after, and he visited the Volunteers' campus for their game against Alabama, which helped solidify his decision, according to Yahoo Sports.

Glasco dealt with injuries during his sophomore and junior seasons, which affected his playing time and ranking. Tennessee's recruiting staff values his size and skill set, fitting their preference for big-body cornerbacks. He is among Tennessee's commitments for the 2027 class and one of several defensive backs in the group. Tennessee's recruiting class ranks 22nd nationally, according to 247Sports.

Other schools that offered Glasco scholarships include Boston College, Colorado State, South Carolina, Purdue, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, and Florida State, among others, according to Yahoo Sports.

Tennessee's 2027 recruiting class features several highly rated players, including five-star running back David Gabriel Georges and multiple four-star prospects, as reported by Yahoo Sports.

Glasco said Tennessee was the best fit overall and felt it was where he was meant to grow both as a player and person, according to his announcement on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube channel and reported by Yahoo Sports. "They have a great program with greater people within, and I feel I could only grow in that system," Glasco said.
