Atlanta Falcons rookie LB Kendal Daniels was taken off on a stretcher after a tackle during Sunday’s game against the Bears.
Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels was carted off the field on a stretcher during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears, according to KSEV Radio and other outlets.
Daniels, 23, stumbled into a low tackle on Chicago tight end Colston Loveland and rolled over with his face toward the turf. He remained motionless for several minutes as medical personnel attended to him, reported KSEV Radio and 1045 The Zone.
The Falcons later confirmed that Daniels was conscious and had full movement of all extremities. Daniels is a fourth-round draft pick from Oklahoma who has started on defense in each of his first six NFL games this season.
Before the injury, Daniels had recorded seven tackles in the game and entered Sunday with one sack among 22 tackles overall, according to KSEV Radio.
