KTLA 5 reported that a man in Southern California was arrested for allegedly stealing brass flower vases valued at more than $4,000 from a local cemetery.
The investigation started in mid-August when a woman reported that brass vases had been taken from her deceased parents' gravesites.
Authorities confirmed that the stolen items included vases placed on the headstones of the woman's parents.
The arrest was announced on a Wednesday, with law enforcement continuing to address thefts from cemeteries in the area.
