In Florida’s 27th Congressional District, which includes parts of the Miami area, the midterm election features incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar seeking reelection against Democrat Eliott Rodriguez, WPLG Local 10 reported.

Meanwhile, in the 24th Congressional District, also covering parts of the Miami metropolitan region, voters will decide between Democrat Oliver G. Gilbert III and Republican Te Mayonna “Te” Brown, according to WPLG Local 10.

These races are part of the broader midterm elections impacting Florida’s congressional representation with candidates from both major parties competing for seats.

Local voters in Miami, Miami Beach, and surrounding areas are encouraged to participate in these elections to select their congressional representatives.
