Skydance has unveiled its new leadership team for its direct-to-consumer and television divisions as part of ongoing changes following the merger of Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount, Hollywood Reporter reported. JB Perrette, co-chair and chief business officer of Skydance TV and Skydance Direct-to-Consumer, announced the appointments in a memo to staff.

Jeff Cusson has been named executive vice president and head of communications for Skydance DTC. Shauna Spenley will serve as chief marketing officer of global DTC and international TV, Trey Turner as international chief operating officer, Josh Walker as chief operating officer of DTC, and Liz Wright as chief financial officer of the Skydance TV segment, according to the Hollywood Reporter and Variety.

Several executives from the pre-merger Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance entities are departing the combined company. These include Dan Barnes, Michael Bishara, Jamie Cooke, Domenic DiMeglio, Marco Nobili, Pank Patel, and Juan Sola, Variety reported. Their roles spanned global advertising, streaming, marketing, and international management.

Perrette expressed gratitude for the departing executives' contributions, noting their instrumental roles in the success of the direct-to-consumer and TV businesses, according to Variety. The leadership changes reflect the ongoing integration and restructuring efforts following the merger.

The new leadership structure aims to position Skydance for growth in the evolving streaming and television markets as the company navigates the post-merger environment, Deadline reported.

Skydance's leadership changes and executive departures highlight the shifting landscape of media companies adapting to consolidation and the streaming era.
