Brothers Bobby and Lance Snyder have been working at Charlotte Douglas International Airport since the 1980s, according to WITN. They serve as crew chiefs for American Airlines, the airline's second-largest hub, ensuring planes arrive and depart safely and on time.

The Snyder brothers grew up near the Tri-Cities Airport and developed an early interest in aviation by visiting airports and cleaning airplanes as children, WITN reported. This experience inspired Bobby to seek employment with Piedmont Airlines in Charlotte in 1986, with Lance following nine months later.

Bobby started working in air freight before moving to ramp duties in 1987, where he has remained. Lance's early responsibilities included unloading, loading, parking, and pushing airplanes. Both brothers now lead crews that prepare for arrivals and departures, coordinating tasks such as unloading and ensuring crew placement, according to Live 5 WCSC.

The brothers work together throughout the day, with Bobby managing a crew of three. Typically, three to four additional workers called runners assist each flight alongside the crew chiefs. Bobby described their work as a team effort, emphasizing coordination and preparation for each flight.

Their dedication and long tenure have inspired younger co-workers at the airport, highlighting the brothers' commitment to their roles over four decades, WBTV reported.
